Most folders for digital scrapbooking are downloaded in a “zipped,” or compressed, format. It’s easy to unzip the folder and see what’s inside.
Designate a special folder on your computer where you will place your downloaded folders and name the folder “Digital Downloads” or something similar. Open File Explorer and locate the new downloaded file. It will appear similar to the folder below, and the name of the folder will be shown underneath.
Right click on the folder, which opens a new window, and select EXTRACT ALL to upzip the contents. A new, unzipped folder will be generated. If you’d like, it’s a good idea to save your zipped folders, perhaps burning them on a DVD with the designer’s name.
